Maya Campbell u16 women?s team and Kat Gautreau u17 women?s team

TEAM PROFILE 

As a countdown to the 2024 atlantic championship in PEI we have talked to a member of all the NB teams competing in the tournament

Next up we have Maya Campbell with the u16 women’s team and Kat Gautreau with the u17 women’s team who are very excited for the upcoming tournament this year! 

“Ive been apart of rugby nb since the winter of 2022 making it 2 years ve been with the rugby nb program, to prepare we’ve been working on a lot of different plays and trying to cater to the other team’s weaknesses, as well as bonding together as a team and keeping our endurance up. For our team we want to really surprise the competition by playing well and hard which will hopefully lead to some hard fought wins”

“I’ve been apart of the rugby NB program for 3 years now, the team and I have been working very hard at jelling as a group. Every week we come together to work out the kinks and find out how we can all maximize or skill sets to achieve success. We re very excited to showcase our hard work talent at Atlantics! As a team we want to represent New Brunswick proudly through hard work, sportsmanship and notable team spirit with hopes of bringing home the gold.”
